Thank you for the article on Tanner Mangum and the positive things that he is doing as an advocate for mental health. His honesty and candid disclosure is inspiring. Your choice of the photo that accompanied the article was poorly made. I hope that it wasn’t an intentional portrayal of Tanner or anyone else with depression or anxiety as “crazy” or out of control. Tanner is attempting to encourage people to accept and treat issues rather than hide them. Sensationalizing them with out of context pictures only sets that course back.
