Johnson letter: F-35 mission

For all of the whining letter readers in opposition to the possibility of the F-35 jets being based in Boise, I have a couple of questions. First, the Boise Airport in its present location began construction in 1936 with the runway being completed in 1938. When was your house built? Secondly, in the dozen or so air bases where the F-35s fly out of, where tens of thousands of people live either on the base or near it, are these people superhuman to do so or could it be they believe, as I do, that peace is achieved through strength?

We are at war, people, and it’s likely to get worse before it gets better.
