Very early Friday morning, June 23, we hit a deer south of Burley while going 80 mph. We were able to coast our disabled car to the side of the road, and very thankful that neither my son nor I was hurt. I’m writing to convey sincere thanks to several car and truck drivers who stopped to make sure we were OK, but especially to the driver of a big rig carrying parcels who stopped and insisted on staying with us until help arrived. We were quite shaken, and really appreciated the care and concern shown to us.
