Taylor letter: Afghan war strategy
Regarding the page 7A, June 14, article “Lawmakers demand strategy for Afghan war.”
The president has indicated he is not going to inform the ISIS or Taliban of our plans to kick their butts. Washington D.C. is full of loose lips that love to sink ships.
And by the way would it interest you all to know that: In 1798 the Federalists passed acts to bar Immigrants from voting and emigrating from “enemy” (Irish) countries. They too gave the president power to deport or imprison immigrants thought to be dangerous to the peace and safety of Americans. There was no doubt that these acts were aimed at the Republicans who derived much of their support from these immigrants.
