Congress is considering legislation that would put a five-year deadline on recovery for endangered animals, before exposing them to hunting and habitat destruction. We should keep the Endangered Species Act as strong as possible.
Our lives depend on a healthy balance of ecosystems, and that is under threat if we allow such things as the Endangered Species Act to be tossed aside, or minimized.
