Weedon letter: Historic home

I noticed recently that the iconic Laura Moore Cunningham family home is for sale. It occurs to me that this would be an excellent opportunity to protect this historic home. Perhaps a public entity or coalition of entities could purchase it, refurbish it and open it to the public for tours. The tour bus for Warm Springs is very popular and I am sure this home would be, too. Perhaps the city of Boise, the state of Idaho, the Preservation Society, the Historical Society or a combination of these public entities could band together to purchase the home. If this opportunity is ignored, would this home ever become available again? It could well be lost forever.
