Petersen letter: F-35 mission
On behalf of myself, and my 150 employees that make up Bronco Motors, I am writing this letter to express my strong support for a long-term manned flight mission at Gowen Field.
I was raised in the Treasure Valley and have built and grown my business over the past 47 years. I have very strong ties to this community and want to see the Treasure Valley continue to grow and prosper. Gowen Field and the Idaho Air National Guard have been, and continue to be, a very integral part of this community. The economic impact that the Idaho Air National Guard has on Boise and the Treasure Valley is huge.
Gowen Field is an ideal location for a new mission, and if selected, it will boost Idaho’s economy by bringing civilian jobs and opportunities. Boise is the only city west of the Mississippi River being considered for this mission. This is an incredible honor and something that speaks of promise and viability.
From all of the data that I’ve gathered, the positive affect will significantly outweigh the minimal noise disruption. I strongly urge your readers’ to show support of this project.
