Bradley letter: Trump’s budget
Let’s see if this makes any sense. President Trump, he of the 5th grade vocabulary and maturity, has blessed us with his budget, which breaks almost every promise he made on the campaign trail. Take away health insurance from the poor and elderly so they will die sooner, take food away from the poor, aged and disabled so they will die sooner, take health care away from poor children so they die earlier, take funds away from the disabled so they will die sooner, destroy the environment so our grandchildren will have shorter and less pleasant lives.
In return for this wonderful Christian(?) budget dedicated to helping the least among us, we have trillions in tax cuts for the top 1 percent, including billions for Trump, his kids and his friends. Just like W., this is a massive tax cut for the wealthy on the backs of the poor with huge deficits for our grandchildren. The growth and job increases by the congressional Republicans should find its home in Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
The only “nut case” in Washington bigger than the budget director is the “nut case” that appointed him.
