Welty letter: Live in peace
My uncle passed away recently and there are many memories. He was a pilot for PanAm and I always thought he and my aunt were very sophisticated ... they had seen the world. One thing they did not do was to give their son a gun. Maybe that was part of their knowing the world.
Please put down your weapons and guns, even for hunting. My uncle would want us all to live in peace.
