Hiatt letter: Hire local

I saw in the April 9 Statesman that we are hiring an out-of-state company to clean up the shooting range.

Seems like we have plenty of people or companies right here in Boise and/or Idaho that could handle that job.

Why must we spend our tax money we pay in Idaho and send it to another state?

Someone is not using good judgment here.
