Jones letter: Japanese Yew
I find it really distressing that some local nurseries continue to sell Japanese Yew, which is responsible for the deaths of dozens of elk and pronghorn this winter. They refuse to stop selling the plant until the state makes it illegal. This is an ugly example of putting profits ahead of the good of animals and the general public who value our wildlife.
