Appel letter: Cutting taxes

Any discussion of tax reduction should start with elimination of the sales tax on food in the state of Idaho. This helps all taxpayers, especially those with low or fixed incomes such as the poor and elderly. Wouldn’t this be a wonderful gesture by our State Legislature? Start with this and then you can look at reducing the income tax rate. If you think this is a good idea call your local representative.
