Herrick letter: Parking for veterans
I came out of the Albertsons store in Eagle and found this note on my windshield. “Not your parking (expletive). For wounded vets only, (expletive).”
I am a 73-year-old man with over six years of service in the military. I was parked one space to the west of the wounded vets space. Even if I was parked in that space, which I was not, how would you know I was not a wounded vet? You probably don’t read the newspapers, so you won’t know about this letter. Next time, think again.
