Tanton letter: Airport noise

Maybe it’s time for the Idaho National Guard to move into theirown airfield and away from the Boise Airport. I know they moved one time to Mountain Home Air Force Base. Then someone complained about the travel for NG members and then they were back. There is tons of space in the desert south of town to build their own airfield. Oh maybe they are making tons of money from the NG to use the airport, or a large tax break. The military has a lot of money, just look at the amount we pay in taxes. You want to stop the noise of freedom, move the National Guard out of the airport. I live miles away from the airport and it is still quite loud at my house. I can’t imagine living next to it.
