One more thing to be thankful for during Thanksgiving season .... Mayor Dave Bieter, introducing a family of “new Americans ... from Syria” at the tree lighting ceremony. Showing class and warmth should not require courage, but it did, and His Honor met the challenge. What a breath of fresh air.
