Bennett letter: DonaldTrump

It was a dramatic moment when the announcer said that Donald Trump had been elected president of the United States. The audience clapped and cheered. The announcer was Vladimir Putin, president of the Russian Federation and a former KGB officer. The “audience” was the Duma, the Russian legislature which is controlled by Putin.

In 2008, Trump’s son Donald Jr. said the Russians had invested heavily in the Trump businesses. So, for less than the price of a jet, Vladimir Putin is poised to control the U.S. Ronald Reagan must be turning in his grave.

Nice going, Republicans — or should I address you as “comrades”?
