Bachelder letter: Clinton emails
Regarding the Clinton emails.
If she knowingly or unknowingly sent classified information in her emails she would be a security risk as president of the United States. You don’t even need to prove criminal intent.
About the timing of this latest news release: To delay releasing news would be the same as delaying the appointment of a Supreme Court nominee until after the election, just to please one political party. To be conciliatory, Obama didn’t fight this, and he should have. It set a bad precedent, like for people who would like to delay news releases.
