Winter letter: Bundy trial
Does the exoneration of Bundy & Co. by the federal jury mean that any group can arm themselves with assault weapons and take over any federal lands, facilities or office for any reason? The damage they did to the Oregon refuge is indisputable. The finding of more than a thousand shell casings speaks to their intent. Brandishing weapons at refuge workers and law enforcement speaks to their dangerous intentions. I am frightened by this jury decision.
