Powers letter: Crapo’s switch

Let’s call Mike Crapo’s flip-flop of his presidential vote just what it is: a vote against women.

Just a few weeks ago he called Trump disrespectful, profane and demeaning toward women. He said the locker room talk was unacceptable as was Trump’s pattern of behavior. By speaking out, he stood up for 50 percent of his constituents. But now Mike has changed his mind. He is perfectly fine with the president of the United States acting and talking in this manner.

I hope the strong, independent women of Idaho will show Crapo what they think of his declaration on Election Day.
