Have to sympathize with Lowell Lauber’s obvious frustration at all of these new bonds and taxes, particularly those for the new library and CWI campus (Oct. 19 letter). Has anyone considered instead repurposing an existing empty campus (e.g., ITT) and/or any number of empty big box stores?
The value added to the community could be at a significantly reduced cost relative to new construction.
