Gardner Letter: School lunches

Our school spokesman tells us the school cafeteria cash register isn’t working. That is why it’s OK to humiliate a kid by taking their lunch away. Then, our spokesman explains that the kid’s school lunch can be the most important of the day. Makes perfect sense. Are we really so big and impersonal that common sense no longer exists?
