I am a volunteer with The Assistance League of Boise. The league provides clothing for over 3,000 Ada County students who are selected by their schools. We help students from grades K-6 find new clothes and shoes for their school year. It’s always fun to help these children, but today was an even greater pleasure because there were deputies from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office working right along beside us finding clothes for the students. They worked as hard as we did finding just the right fit. The students were so excited to have their assistance. It was a heartwarming experience watching their interaction. I want to thank these Ada County sheriff’s deputies for going beyond the call of duty. You made a special day, not only for the students, but the adult volunteers.
