Lunsford letter: Donald Trump
In order to be an American president, you constitutionally need to meet three requirements. I feel a fourth should be added to this list. 1. You must be a natural-born citizen of the United States. 2. You must be at least 35 years of age. 3. You must be a permanent resident of the United States for 14 years or more. And No. 4 should be, You must be a human being.
Donald Trump has some traits of a human, but he also has traits of a baboon. Monkeys don’t know what politeness or decency are, but neither does Donald Trump. Monkeys are not considered to be classy animals, but neither is Trump. Monkeys can do some embarrassing things from time to time, but Donald Trump has been a constant embarrassment to the Grand Old Party for a year now. I’ll give Trump a banana, but I won’t give my vote to some baboon.
