DiLisa letter: Lawsuit dollars

So let me get this right, the ruling leaders of the Idaho Legislature are paying tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars on losing frivolous lawsuits, disguised as the “Constitutional Defense Fund.” Maybe I’m misinformed but exactly what Constitution are you defending?

How about some advice the next time the state wants to rewrite the law, check with the Supreme Court for the latest rulings, (that would be the U.S. Supreme Court, it’s in America). Perhaps our noticeably absent governor, Butch Otter, could focus on other minor issues concerning the citizens of Idaho, such as health care, or preschool to college, and this might be a little too much, wages and homelessness.

If that’s too much, at least try to catch up with the 21st century, people are wondering what you and the rest of our elected “leaders” do the other five days of the week.
