Northern lights flood Seattle sky with bright green aurora borealis
Sunday night stargazers in the Seattle area saw a rare Mother's Day light show in May. Bright green lights filled the sky, and the National Weather Service of Seattle called it one of the best aurora borealis displays seen there in a decade.
National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touched down north of Darlington in Butte County on Thursday, June 21. The tornado formed during a severe thunderstorm in the area between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. This video was taken from Highway 96.
