Walmart and Aldi store-brand foods included in a salmonella public health alert
Frozen pizza from three brands, including Walmart and Aldi, and pork rinds comprise the first run of products in a USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service public health alert.
The alert covers “meat and poultry products containing FDA-regulated dairy ingredients (recalled dry milk powder) that may be contaminated with salmonella,” the alert said. “FSIS expects additional downstream products will be identified as this ingredient recall progresses.”
For now, check your pantry for pork rings from Pork King Good and your freezer for frozen pizzas from Culinary Circle, Walmart’s Great Value and Aldi’s Mama Cozzi’s brands.
