Idaho state Rep. Thyra Stevenson died Monday morning, a week after suffering a heart attack, according to a Lewiston Tribune report.

Stevenson, a Republican from Lewiston, was in her second term representing District 6, which includes Nez Perce and Lewis counties. She previously served on the Lewiston City Council.

Stevenson, 75, had a heart attack May 4 at the home of longtime friend Mark Heuett. Heuett performed CPR on her for several minutes before the ambulance arrived. She was initially taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and later transferred to Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, where she died May 11, according to The Lewiston Tribune.

Stevenson was seeking re-election to her Idaho House seat. She faced one challenger, Aaron von Ehlinger, in the May 19 Republican primary.
