Otter appoints two to Fish and Game Commission

Gov. Butch Otter on Thursday named a farmer from Rupert and a retired judge from Lemhi County to vacancies on the Idaho Fish & Game Commission.

Greg Cameron is a sugar beet and barley farmer and an avid archer. He is a member of Minidoka Bowman Club and Idaho State Bowhunters. Jerry Meyers, of North Fork, is a former Lemhi County magistrate and a senior judge as well as outfitter and big game guide. He is a member of the NRA, Safari Club International, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Idaho Houndsmen.

They replace Mark Doerr of Kimberly and Will Naillon of Challis, whom Otter chose not to reappoint. Their appointments require Senate confirmation.

Fish & Game commissioners serve four-year terms.
