Two school board trustee seats are up for grabs in Kuna.

Kyrsti Bruce, Brenda Drake Blitman, Brian Shjerve and Freddy Wheeler are all aiming for a spot. In our Voter Guide, the candidates talked about working with students, teachers and parents.

Bruce and Blitman are running for a four-year term in Zone 3, and Shjerve and Wheeler are facing off for a four-year term in Zone 4. Bruce is the incumbent in Zone 3. She is seeking her second term on the board.

Zone 3 stretches from Discovery Park down past the Falcon Crest Golf Club. It goes from a little bit west of Meridian Road to east of Kuna Road. Zone 4 goes from King Road north up to Lake Hazel and Amity roads. For the most part, Zone 4’s eastern and western boundaries are Black Cat and Ten Mile roads.

Kim Nixon is the incumbent for Zone 4.
