Who’s on your Idaho ballot and what do they stand for? Find out in our 2020 voter guide
This year’s presidential race has captured most of our attention for months as we head to the Nov. 3 general election.
But you may know a lot less about the rest of the people and issues on the ballot that Idaho voters will receive in the mail or at the polls come Election Day.
If you’re wondering how to vote in those races, the Idaho Statesman’s 2020 Voter Guide can help.
We sent questionnaires to Idaho candidates for the U.S. Congress, as well as local and legislative races in Ada and Canyon counties.
Just go to IdahoStatesman.com/voter-guide to see detailed responses from candidates vying for your vote. Type in your address to pull up what will be on your ballot and learn more about the candidates’ backgrounds.
For subscribers, we have candidate views on such topics as rising property taxes, economic uncertainty due to the coronavirus pandemic, continued population growth in the Treasure Valley and more.
If you’re not yet registered to vote, you can register day-of at your polling place on Nov. 3 or during early voting, which began in Idaho on Oct. 13.
Click here for early voting locations and times in Ada County, or call 208-287-6860. Click here if you’re a Canyon County voter, or call 208-454-7562.
If you’re unsure about your registration status, you can check on it by visiting the Idaho Secretary of State’s website or call 208-334-2852 for more information.
