Hundreds rally in Boise supporting Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders
Supporters of the Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders marched Saturday through Downtown Boise Saturday ahead of the state’s Democratic caucus to take place March 22, according to a KBOI-TV, Channel 2 report.
Around 2,200 people pledged to attend the march in a Facebook event.
Sanders supporters started at the Idaho Statehouse around 10 a.m. Saturday and headed down toward Ann Morrison Park.
Ada County Hillary Clinton supporters also phone-banked Saturday night for their candidate and Canyon County Clinton supporters held an organizing meeting at Flying M Coffee Garage, according to a Hillary for Idaho email.
