Mayors, taxes, recalls on Ada and Canyon ballots

——Are you ready for this fall’s election?

Mayors and city council members are on the ballot in nonpartisan races across Ada and Canyon counties. Three school districts are asking voters for money, two Caldwell school trustees face recalls, Meridian wants money for libraries, and Boise wants money for Foothills land purchases.

To inform your decisions, the Statesman has again compiled an online Voter Guide. Use it to look up which candidates and measures you can vote on, see the candidates’ pictures, learn about their backgrounds, and compare their views on issues in their own words. You can link to candidates’ websites and social-media accounts and to instructions for registering and voting. (It’s easy to reach the guide through a link on the Statesman’s home page, idahostatesman.com.
