Hear from the candidates: Our 2021 voter guide to the West Ada School Board election
Two West Ada School Board seats are up for election this November.
No incumbents are running to retain their seats. Trustees serve four-year terms.
The Statesman sent surveys to each of the candidates on issues including COVID-19 mitigation measures, teacher retention and critical race theory. Their responses are unedited.
Lori Ann Frasure, a candidate for zone 1, and Angela Redford, a candidate for zone 3, did not respond.
Frasure on her website said her top priorities include putting kids first, keeping kids learning in person, listening to community members and maintaining local control. She said she is running for school board because she believes “we need to put our kids first.”
Redford on her website said her top priorities also include putting students first, focusing on education, engaging the community and keeping schools open.
