Six candidates are seeking public office in Garden City this year, four for the City Council and two for mayor.
Council members are elected at large. The top two vote-getters among these four candidates will win the two open seats. The mayoral election is determined by a simple majority.
The Statesman sent surveys to each of the candidates, and their responses are unedited. The candidates discussed housing, jobs, and more.
Early voting begins Oct. 18 and Election Day is Nov. 2.
