Sanders to visit Idaho; Olympic skater Kwan heads here for Clinton

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will stop in Idaho Falls Friday for a rally at Skyline High School, 1767 Blue Sky Drive.

Doors open at 8:30 a.m., according to a notice from his campaign. The event is free to the public, but attendees are asked to RSVP at this link. The campaign asks that people not bring bags with them; weapons, sharp objects, chairs and signs or banners on sticks won’t be allowed through security.

There’s no word that Hillary Clinton herself plans a visit to the Gem State, but two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan will stop here Thursday to promote the candidate.

The public is encouraged to RSVP at this link if they want to attend the 6:30 p.m. event at Boise State University’s Hatch Ballroom. Doors open at 6 p.m. The event is free.
