Lewiston man dies in avalanche near Brundage ski resort

Kirk Kinzer Jr. of Lewiston died Sunday afternoon in an avalanche, according to the Adams County Sheriff’s office.

The 20-year-old was snowmobiling with a group of people in the Twin Lakes area north of the Brundage ski resort when the avalanche hit. He was given CPR after the accident, but could not be revived., the sheriff’s office reports.

The Adams County Sheriff’s office is investigating the fatal accident.
