A lottery ticket worth $445,000 was sold in northern Idaho and hasn’t been claimed yet.

Now, the Idaho Lottery is asking players to check their 5 Star Draw tickets, the lottery office said in a June 26 news release.

Someone matched all five numbers during the June 25 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers were 14, 20, 27, 38, and 42.

The winning ticket was sold somewhere in Kootenai County. For security reasons, lottery officials cannot provide an exact location until a winner has claimed the prize.

Lottery players have 180 days from the drawing date to claim prize money.

What to know about 5 Star Draw

The game is only sold in Idaho and costs $5 to play.

“Pick five numbers from 1 to 45 twice. You get two separate lines for each play,” according to Idaho Lottery’s website.

If a player matches five numbers, they win the jackpot, which starts at $250,000 and grows with each drawing.

Drawings are on Tuesdays and Fridays.

“Idaho, especially north Idaho, continues to be a lucky place for players to win big prizes,” Idaho Lottery Director Jeff Anderson said in the release, “We are encouraging everyone who played 5 Star Draw for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners.”

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
