A missing 62-year-old with dementia was found alive at a ranch days after she was last seen at a park in northern Idaho, deputies said.

Linda Kent had been fishing with family June 16 at a boat ramp in Old Mission State Park in Cataldo, the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and The Coeur d’Alene Press reported.

She went to use the bathroom and never returned, her daughter, Christina Heimbigner, told the news outlet.

Rescuers then set out to find her using drones, search and rescue dogs, a boat and by foot, deputies said.

Deputies called off search efforts the next day, saying they had “exhausted” their resources looking for her, The Coeur d’Alene Press reported.

She was found four days later on a man’s ranch, several miles from where she was last seen, deputies said. She was treated for dehydration and is back with her family.

Cataldo is about a 60-mile drive southeast from Spokane.
