Three young sisters were found dead days after they vanished with their father in Washington, authorities said.

The father, 32-year-old Travis Decker, was last seen with his daughters at about 5 p.m. May 30 as they were leaving their home, the Wenatchee Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Decker took the girls, aged 5, 8 and 9 years old, on a planned visitation, police said.

But he was reported to police when neither he nor the girls were heard from again, authorities said.

Authorities began searching for Decker and the girls, checking local motels in East Wenatchee and Wenatchee, but they didn’t turn up, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

Deputies said they narrowed the search area and discovered his white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck abandoned near Rock Island Campground near Leavenworth.

The bodies of the three girls were then found June 2 in the area, but their father hasn’t been found, deputies said.

Decker is wanted on three charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping, deputies said.

“Decker is a former military with extensive training. It is unknown whether Decker is currently armed, but he may pose a significant risk, if approached,” deputies said.

Anyone who has seen him since May 30 should call 911, but deputies said do not approach him.

He weighs about 190 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and was last seen in a light colored shirt and dark shorts.

At the time of the visitation, he had been living in his truck and at motels.
