Lindsey Vonn’s dogs chased after porcupine. It didn’t go well for them, pictures show
Lindsey Vonn’s dogs learned a valuable lesson over the weekend: Don’t chase after porcupines.
Luckily, the Olympic alpine skier’s dogs are OK after the incident last weekend in Utah.
“So... my boys got into some trouble over the weekend,” Vonn posted on Instagram Tuesday morning. “They ran out of the house and chased after a porcupine... as boys do. Incredibly thankful that they are OK.”
Pictures show thorns covering the muzzles of both dogs.
She said she took them to White Pine Veterinary Clinic, where the vet removed the thorns. The dogs appeared to be in good spirits after their trip to the vet.
MLB Hall of Famer Pudge Rodriguez and United States Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson were among the people who commented on the pictures.
“Poor doggies. Glad to know they are OK,” Rodriguez said.
“Noooooooooooo” Johnson commented, sharing the feelings of many others.
