Watch Arizona’s attorney general show off nunchuck skills after state legalizes them

Arizona’s attorney general whipped out his nunchucks in response to the state’s legalization of the martial arts weapon — and his demonstration was captured on video.

“Clearly, my years of martial arts training paid off,” Attorney General Mark Brnovich posted to Twitter. “Pulled my old nunchaku out of storage...like riding a bike.”

He added the hashtag, “#WayOfTheDragon,” which is the 1972 Bruce Lee movie where nunchakus (also called nunchucks) are used to fight.

Arizona was one of several states that appeared to have banned nunchucks in response to the popular Bruce Lee martial arts movies, the Arizona Daily Star reported.

That ban was lifted on Friday when Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation that removed the nunchucks from the “list of prohibited weapons,” KTAR reported.
