Payette motorcyclist injured in morning I-84 accident in Boise
Lee W. Oeleis, 25, was headed east on Interstate 84 on Monday morning when he failed to yield to slowing traffic and his 2001 Yamaha motorcycle struck the back of a car.
The accident took place at 7:39 a.m. at milepost 47. Oeleis ran into the back of a 2004 Dodge Neon driven by Vernon M. Blazor, 28, of Nampa.
Oeleis, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Oeleis was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
