Oregon speed limit on sections of Interstate 84 increases

You can now drive 70 mph on sections of Interstate 84 in Eastern Oregon, without getting side-eye from the Oregon State Patrol.

New speed limit signs were installed from the Oregon-Idaho border along I-84 through Pendleton Tuesday. The speed limit was increased from 65 mph to 70 mph, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

Crews began installing new speed limit signs along the interstate on Tuesday.
