All Interstate 84 lanes open following crash near Mountain Home
A fiery crash at westbound milepost 97 closed a section of Interstate 84 in both directions overnight Monday.
Eastbound lanes reopened about 4:30 a.m., and westbound lanes had reopened by around 9:40 a.m., Idaho State Police report.
The crash happened around 11 p.m. Monday night just east of Mountain Home. Idaho State Police say that a Dodge pickup pulling a trailer was stopped on the westbound right shoulder of the Interstate when it was hit by a FedEx tractor hauling three trailers driven by Travis Trowbridge, 27, of Boise. The second and third FedEx trailers overturned and the third trailer caught fire, ISP reports.
No one was injured in the crash, which is still under investigation.
Tayler Kerns, 22, of Haines, Ore., was the driver of the Dodge, which also had two passengers.
Idaho State Police are continuing their investigation of the crash.
