2 people injured in 3-vehicle crash in Mountain Home

Two people were sent to St. Luke’s Elmore Medical Center after a Thursday morning crash that involved three vehicles, including a semitrailer, according to Mountain Home Police.

Police responded to the crash around 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of North 2nd East and American Legion Boulevard. Investigators determined the driver of a 2007 Ford pickup truck hit the back of a stopped 1999 Dodge pickup truck, pushing it into the intersection. The Dodge then struck the trailer pulled by the semi cab as it was passing through the intersection.

Police did not identify the two injured patients, but said they were in stable condition Thursday morning. More information is expected to be released when the police investigation concludes.
