Idaho Highway 21 near Stanley back open again

Idaho Highway 21 is open again between Grandjean Junction and Banner Summit, the Idaho Transportation Department reported Wednesday.

The stretch of highway that threads the mountains west of Stanley is often closed in winter due to the threat of possible avalanches.
