A week after a motorcycle and a vehicle crashed near the intersection of South Eagle and East Overland roads, the motorcyclist died.

Just before 4:30 a.m. last Thursday, July 2, the Ada County Coroner’s Office said in a news release that it was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where Abner Cowherd, of Lumberton, Texas, was pronounced dead.

He died from injuries he sustained in the crash on June 25, the coroner said. He was 53.
