Idaho man killed in head-on collision involving sedan, commercial vehicle
A Homedale man driving a sedan was killed in a head-on collision with a commercial vehicle Monday in Caldwell.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at about 2:33 a.m. near the intersection of Simplot Boulevard and Farmway Road, according to an Idaho State Police news release.
The “middle-aged” Homedale man was driving a 2010 Ford Fusion headed eastbound and crossed the center line into the path of the commercial vehicle, ISP said. He died at the scene.
The driver of the commercial vehicle, who is from American Falls, wasn’t injured, ISP said.
State police are investigating the incident.
