A 21-year-old man was driving a Ducati Supersport motorcycle south on Idaho 21 near Lucky Peak shortly before 6:24 a.m. when he crossed into oncoming northbound traffic and collided with a Ford F-250 truck, the Ada County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

“He was transported by Life Flight to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries from the crash,” the sheriff’s office said.

Sheriff’s deputies and Boise Police officers responded to the scene.
