Nampa structure fire causes road closures and delays along 15th Avenue S.
The Nampa Police Department notified residents of possible road closures and delays due to a residential structure fire near an elementary school Thursday.
The Nampa Fire Department responded to a residence in the 400 block of 15th Avenue S. across from Central Elementary School early Thursday afternoon, according to a NPD Facebook post.
Police say the school is not affected and students are being kept inside the building.
Roads in the area of the fire have closures, traffic delays and reroutes. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.
